Oh Canada....

Why is it everytime I come back to Holland I feel like crap. No its not the jetlag. Nor the long trip. Its just that I miss everybody there. I miss getting up in the morning and sitting at the counter with a cup of coffee with Kara and Ralph. I miss getting up in the morning to the sound of Sienna talking. I miss going to Tim Hortons and Starbucks for a quick coffee. I miss just hanging with everybody, chilling out , having fun. Hell, I even miss the airbed.

Somehow Canada just makes me feel great. The way of life. The stores, the roads, the attitude. But most of all. The people I fell in love with. In total, I've spend 6 weeks with them. It seems like I've known them forever. We barely been trough stuff together. Though the thoughts of camping makes my stomach feel weird. Or the thought of a hot tub in the mountains makes me wonder off.

The smell of BBQ here makes me think, sheesh, these BBQ's suck. The way snow is handeled here make me scream out PUSSIES! and make me think back. Drifts in a F150....

One thing, I do know. I need to go back. In 6 or 7 months. I need to go back. One way or another. I need to go back. Some people smoke, some people do drugs. I do Canada. For those 2 weeks. I feel alive. I feel like my life has sense. Like its fun. Like I have a meaning to be there. Everytime I'm there. I dont want to go back. Days fly by.

Whenever I think of the last holiday now. It puts tears in my eyes. Tears for not being able to be there. To see what they are up to. Whenever I get an email from Ralph, Tess or Kara. It makes me feel closer. Makes me feel, like I'm there. Makes me feel...... like a friend.

Meeting people this time around has even broadened my view even more. People like Brandon. Met him twice, feels like he's been a friend of years.

I just figured out what I might want as a first tattoo... a nice small maple leaf...

Wow! I was checking everybody's blog and found out we didn't write anything for a loooooonnnngg time!

How's life!

Well, I bought a new horse..... her name is Miss Mo, she is an Irish Cob, with spots and lots and lots of hair. Eveline and Henk saw here already.. Even sat on her... haha.
She is soooo sweet!
A month or 2 ago we had an eventing game. That was a lot of fun, jumping over fences and trees. Just love it!

In holland it has been raining for 2 weeks now. The land were the horses are one is soaking wet. Looks more like a pool than a farm. Well, shit happends.

For us, it's 20 days to go till we are in Canada and we/I can't wait!! It's probably going to be very cold.... since yesterday it was 8 degrees here and after 2 hours of horse riding I was frozen..... that's going to be funny :P


Harm is still asleep. I'm going to wake him up soon. Need to do some Sinterklaas shopping. A well..

Well here we are again. Summer's gone, autumn doesnt seem to excist anymore so we skip directly to winter! Sub-zero temperatures in October? No problem.

This does have advantages though. Hot chocolate! I love it.

So what have we been up to. Turkey a few weeks ago. Had a really really good time! Needed a vacation and this hit the spot. Sun, luxury and loads of good food. Yes please!

Now only a few weeks till Call Gary. Its funny to see you always start at 4 months and the date seems to be crawling and the last few weeks things start flying.

What's my expectation for Call Gary? Hard to say. Cold, hot tub, indoor activities, swimming pool, movie marathon, snowboarding, xmas, bday,anniversary. But most of all. Hanging out with my favourite people. Just chilling, talking and not worry about work ( mostly ).

I hope we can afford to get over there next year as it really is my Graceland. Whenever im on the otherside, everything really IS greener. I feel relaxed, at place. Things go my way for once.

Dont you have those moments where you think a song on the background is so appropiate? Last week, first drive in the MR2 since well forever, i turned on the radio and a song was on i liked since i first heard it. A song i was thinking about how it would be a good song for the first drive in the AW. The song is by the Veronicas and called Untouched.

There are more songs that fit different activities. Some how some songs fit everywhere. Tiesto for instance, can be used as background music or as music in the gym. Me first and the gimme gimmes is awesome rush hour music and the list goes on... Listening at this moment? David Guetta ft Akon.

Eva fell a sleep on the couch... Now the question , as always is, wake her up ? Or let her sleep?

Well just another day at teh office. Missed my train. So im late, Eva is out horse riding. The cat peed on the couch AGAIN. Anyone has a fix for this? We found some hormone stuff i want to try.

Weekend was fun. Went to the beach with Ingrid who stayed over. Played Canadopoly and some Wii. Sunday we went to the pool.

Oh joy, it just started to rain to!
