This morning we woke up by the sound of clattering rooftiles.. The neighbours again. They already lost a section of their roof yesterday and this morning another secion decided to act as a wake up call for me... And then to think thats only the beginning of a rude awakening!

I decided to get out of bed and take a look out the window... So the first move you make.. Right, bed light! Not a chance, all the power was out. We went to check the power and flipped the switch, power was back up again. 10 minutes later power was out again... Till this moment that group is still acting funny..

This weekend we had a gameweekend with some friends! PS3, Wii, PS2, XBOX 360... Guitar Hero 4 wasnt in yet... *dont get me started* so we had to play GH3.. I also modded my Wii so I was able to play Wii Music.. Which is fun but not as fun as GH3... I mailed the people who should be supplying my GH4 but got a lousy email back saying they dont know what went wrong and they're going to get back to me... Yeey for monday.. again..

During gameweekend it started snowing! Which gave a nice sight to the garden and the cars... It also made the roads plain dangerous to drive on.. right when I was out to get something to eat.. It resulted in my going sideways in an Audi 80 of Wout and catching it while doing so... usually it should be fun.. not if its your father in laws car :)

All was well and I think I can say the game weekend was a decent succes.. Eva finished Dragonforce just on time before GH4, she finished her GH on her Nintendo DS on Easy and is now rocking out on Medium.

Been a long time....

So finally, I found some time to work on the blog again. Its been a whole month!

Vicky grew heaps ! She's finally accepted by her 2 big brothers and she's part of the gang now. Terrorising my feet when I try to sleep... I guess that why god invented water pistols.. * evil*

What has happened the last month... Eva quit her job... And is applying for a new one tomorrow. My car is finally in storage so I can FINALLY work on it. Been a long time...

Further, we sent out 2 gift packages to our friends/relatives in Canada.. I hope they get them soon. I wish I could track them but the guys at the post office lied to me AGAIN... Yeah sure you can use track and trace on these packages, no problem.. Well maybe I'm a computer n00b but nothing works. Not even the almight Google could help me. So note to self, never listen to post office dudes!

Another highlight! Less then 2 months left and theeeen... DISNEY!! We're going to Disney in Paris on Eva's bday.. After that, 2 days of Paris. Looking forward to.. Hope we have nice dry weather.... Snow would be cool aswell but we'll have to see...

So, saturday we are picking up a new kitten. She's gonna be called Vicky and she's 1/4 Main Coone, the rest. We don't know :)

I think she's gonna rule over the 2 boys we have now but we'll see how it goes... I got one pic from the ad and thats it for now..

Canada represent!

So this morning I was on the train ( as always ) with my Crumpler bag... The one I got a Canada pin for... When all of a sudden an older lady tapped my shoulder and said your Canadian to?!!?! I said no I just went on holiday there and had an awesome time! She was from British Colombia and is on holiday in the Netherlands...

Chance was, there were two more Canadian's in the same train carriage. They had never seen a folding bike before and I think they really liked it. Ofcourse I told them which stop they had to take as a wannabe Canadian ;)

Guitar Hero rocks!!!

So tonight ( I just put my Guitar down and said goodbye to Scott-meister himself. It was a first... Online Guitar Hero... You take regular Guitar Hero coolness , multiply it times 500 and you get the idea.. We rocked out for an hour of 2 and ofcourse we took pics! Even Eva and Tessa were rocking hard. ( Rock chicks rule so much ! )

So, next up for online gaming is Mario Kart. Tessa and Scott totally have to get it..

Just one of those days...

So today was one of those days.. Woke up, got to the bus and it was late 10 minutes.... I missed my train and was gonna be late to work...

So I got out halfway on Schiphol Airport.. And get to my favourite coffeeplace...

Starbucks! After a grande vanilla latte, things were a bit brighter again... Not that it completely made my day, but it made it barable...

Weekend...

Well today is Eva's first weekend of work.. She's on a 12 day shift now, see how it goes... That leaves me alone in the house! So last night I called Scotty to configure his Wii for some online Guitar Hero action. He wasnt in, so I left a message and they left a message on my Facebook. So tonight, its going dooooown!

So in a bit I better do some gardening cuz it looks like I'm living in the Amazone atm, put the MR2 in a different position cuz its getting in the way and do the litterboxes. ( sjeesj this blog seems desperate ! ) Then later tonight dinner at Wout and Maria for some good old Soto.

Then next week... Work work work... Later that week Mario's b-day, and going to visit some friends of my parents. I'll try to post some more pics on this blog cuz this isnt really appealing is it!

My time!

Harm is gone for the night to go to play soccer and stuff, every tuesday night so the house is mine. *muhahahaha*.
Really exciting! Well not really. Just replaced the light bulb, did the litterbox and a couple off small things. Now I'm watching a movie, just have no idea which one. Doesn't matter.

Oe! I made a awesome sandwich voor myself. With mayo, bacon, lettuce, tomato (yeah, sounds like a BLT), smoked chicken, egg, cheese and ( oe, what's the english word for it, the same as Dutch?) avocado. Really really good!!! Looking forward for my next tuesday. Haha.

My first 2 days were great! The boss is really a lot off fun and the job is nice. Like it this far. Just hope they like me too. Would be nice to work there for a long time so keep your fingers crossed for the time being. I wish I took another tattoo when I was in Calgary, because today I heard that there is no problem with having a tattoo at my new job! :-O Everybody has them, sort off.

Like Harm I'm missing Canada a lot too. The space, the mountains, the people, it's way better than Holland. But well, maybe in a couple off years.

Well that's it for now. I know there are a lot of wrong words and sentences but i'm trying hard not to make them. Just live with it ;)

Go-Karting!

So, today. After Eva's first day of work. Paul ringed us up to ask if we were interested in some go karting. DUH! So tonight we went go-karting with Paul, Maaike, us 2 and some other guys. Ofcourse the first heat was mine, with a 1:14. Maaike got 3rd in the second heat with a 1:16 and I got first in the 3rd heat with a 1:13.825.

Eva didnt do to well but she was unlucky of having 2 bad karts. I got the same kart in the second heat and see what it got me. A lousy 1:16. Oh well, she'll take revenge next time since normally she is just behind me!

So tomorrow finally its time for fitness and indoor soccer. Been a long long time! The week befor we went to Canada was the last time so that makes it what, a month?

I hope I dont have to much muscle ache tomorrow but who knows...

A blog? Yes a blog!

Well, after seeing how much enjoy reading Kara's en Tessa's blogs and making my holiday blog I thought, what the hell , why not!

So here it is, version 1 of our digitalized life. No kids tales here! Just the stuff the kittens do. Work related stuff of colleagues who stress me out, Eva her new job ( exciting!!! ) and just random stuff happening here!

So thats about it for a first post!
