Ten on Tuesday
1. Snow..... for three months now... We are starting to look like Canada more and more. This is not fun anymore.
They predict we are going to have 6 degrees on friday. Let's hope it stays that way.
2. I don't like Harm.... He's going to New York in april. That's like.... mean! I want to go there!
3. I have spoiled co-workers.. I gave them muffins so much lately. They are kind of sad when I didn't made some.
4. I love long weekends. Since I have my current job I'm off every other friday.
5. I have to admit. I start to like my job now. I was shocked when I started it. Since I'm not educated as a secretary it was complicated to start with, especially because there was no one that could explain it to me.
6. Song of the week: One republic - all the right moves.
7. I bought 30 puzzles last week. What can I say, it was a deal! I bought them on 'marktplaats' the dutch version of 'ebay'.

Picture of the week. Before I even knew Mo I took this picture. The first one with all my horses on it. Now I have to take another picture with all of my horses.
9. I suprised Harm for valentines day... We decided not to do anything about it.. but I didn't like the thought of that.
10. Harm and I like watching Jon and Kate. She's extremely busy! It's a good thing they broke up. They are still broken up right? Since we are watching it on Travel and Living and they are not a big thing in Holland.

Ten on Tuesday
1. We went to Friesland last weekend, and I have to admit, it was fun! We got to Heerenveen on friday, went shopping a little and went back to the hotel. I bought a pair of leather boots and a cook book.
On saturday we went to Bolsward and Franeker. Lovely little villages. I really liked Franeker, it has a lot of history and offcourse the oldest home made planetarium.
We stayed in a bed and breakfast in Harlingen that night. What a lovely woman!
On sunday we went back to Leidschendam, but we stopped in Volendam first....
Yes.. I am aware of the fact that it is so wrong in so many ways... But my mom liked it so it is okay.
2. It's cold. Like... really cold. My fueltank cap was frozen yesterday. That was nice to get some fuel. I looked like an idiot.. It was cold in Canada, but this is starting to look a lot alike.
3. I hate calling people I hardly speak to. But for some reasons I end up doing it anyway.
4. Lately, I like going to bed early. Like at 9 o'clock in the evening. Could it be the winter? Or the nice bed? I think a combo.
5. How come... people want to borrow dvd's but never give them back. So.. my sollution is... keep my dvd's to myself.
6. I have a lot of respect for Kara... doing a ten on tuesday. It's hard!!
7. Horse news!

8. As an addition to my addictions... cookbooks. Remember the one from the cupcakes? I found out there are a lot of other ones from the same writer :D Jeeej!
9. I miss summer... I know our 3 months of snow and cold is noting compared to Canada. But I just miss summer really bad.

Ten on Tuesday
1. Week number 9 with snow... Yes, you read that correctly. We have had 8,5 weeks with snow this winter. And it's not even spring so a lot of winter is still ahead of us...
I'm curious what's going to happen the next few months.
2. Does anyone knows how much fun it is to make cupcakes!! It's so much fun!!! I've made cherry-chocolat-whipped cream cupcakes and oreo cupcakes now and they all were awesome.
3. This weekend we are going to Friesland.... I've never been there yet for real. Just to pick something up. So I wonder how it's like. I'll let you know!
4. Did I tell anyone I'm hungry? Waiting for Harm to get home. Why does he have to work so far away?
5. I need to read more. I have like 20 books that still need to be read. I need more time!!

10. I have another new addiction. Except for baking cupcakes. Buying covers for my Iphone...

ten on tuesday
1. My new saddle has come in! And it's comfy! We look pretty cool right now.
2. Holland is doing strange things... It's snowing... again! And the temp is -15 yesterday and today. We got used to a cold temperatuur in Canada. But I don't really like it for Holland. Hope we hit spring soon!

3. Last time I forgot to tell something.... I've gotten blond...sort of. I just wanted something else and I got that.
4. I'm boring... probably right now but also in real life... I just love puzzeling. I'm doing a christmas version now. Since we still (or again) have snow I'm allowed to make that puzzle.
5. I drove the MR2 today and will drive the MR2 tomorrow. Since the garage were it stood is going to be broken down I decided it can better be out on time. So I took it out today (it's a 2 minute walk from my work). And took it to work... the clients thought it was a Lamborgini.. yeah right!
6. Ajax won from AZ ( Harm just mentioned it)
7. My mom and I cleaned up my old stuff... I put it away in the garage. And since that's going to be taken down, it moved to our house.
It's sooo funny seeing all your kids stuff back. Agenda's from high school and cd from '95. Cleopatra, coming at ya!
8. My little baby was in heat. Yes, while I'm writing this, Vicky was in heat.. and she was funny!
9. I had an awesome weekend!! Just relaxed a lot, went to the horses for 9 hours in two days... I love those kind of weekends. Now I just need to work for 2 days and it's weekend again!
10. I like going to bed early... Just get a lot of sleep and wake up well rested. So I'm going to do that now. See you next week!

Ten on Tuesday......
.... live from holland.
Since I love reading Kara’s ten on Tuesday I thought I could start one too.
So here we go!
- This year we had a record amount of snow in Holland. Not only the amount but also the time it stayed here...... 6!!!! weeks!! I love snow... but not when I have horses. So I’m quite happy it’s gone now. But we have nice pictures of it!
- I bought Miss Mo a new saddle!! It’s called a barefoot cheyenne drytex and it’s very comfortable for Mo as it is for me. So now I’m waiting for it to arrive. Waiting is ennoying!
- A dutch group has a new song that I just love. For the dutchies - people who speak Dutch; Jurk – zou zo graag.
- I love taking long showers.. I know it’s bad for the enviroment but I can’t help it. Just sitting there, warming up. It’s sooooo nice!
- Last week I thought about taking new pictures from the cats. The only ones we have are with a ugly background or they don’t look charming at all! Why can I take nice pictures of other people’s animals but can’t take nice pictures of the cats I know best..
- I feel old... Yes, I know I’m only 23, but I life a grown up life for three years now... I would really like it to just hang out on school, don’t have to do laundry, don’t have to cook, don’t have to think about what I’m going to eat next week. A well, as long as I can still act like a 12 year old with friends I’m going to be okay.
- I’m wearing make-up! Yes, after a long time of just using mascara and eyeliner, Kara got me to start wearing make-up. And it’s pretty easy actually. Plus... my mom loves it! She is saying that everytime she sees me..
- We really need to develop pictures taken in Canada in the holiday. I’m saying that for 2 weeks now and it’s getting ennoying. I know there are pictures in there I just really like... no, not the one Kara put on her blog... me being santa when I just woke up.
- I would like to do a 101/1001... that’s a Dutch thing I think. You make 101 targets for yourself (go on a holiday to New York, finish your studie etc) and you are supposed to finish those in a 1001 days... Am I brave enough for that? And do I know a 101 targets? I’m a happy person already
- Last one! This was pretty funny actually! Sooooo, 1 of my targets is going to be: keep your blog up to date!!

My gf
Im writing this on my BlackBerry since Eva is already asleep. But it just hit me that we have been together for more then 3 years and those were a blast. She is the best gf i can wish for. She understands me, shes fun to have around, good to have fun with and full of great ideas. Up to the next 3 years! Love you baby!
